Hi, I am Tobias. I am a PhD researcher at Humboldt-University of Berlin. I work as a research assistant at the Institute of Accounting and Auditing at the chair of Joachim Gassen. Before that, I worked as a lecturer at Beuth University of Applied Sciences and advisor and caseworker at the German statutory pension insurance scheme.
I completed the course work of the Berlin Doctoral Program of Economics and Management Science in April 2019. Completed courses include Advanced Microeconomics, Advanced Econometrics, Financial Economics, and Experimental Research and Behavioral Decision-Making.
Currently, I am in the research stage of my PhD studies. My research interests include interactions of firms and government agencies, and its consequences for investment and transparency. More broadly, I am interested in the way a firm’s environment promotes or prevents firm transparency.
